WASHINGTON--A team of students from the University of Kentucky is in Washington, trying to build the world's most energy efficient house. The competition is part of the Solar Decathlon. UK is one of 20 schools competing. Winners will be announced late next week.

The house was designed and built by UK students. It was built on campus and then transported to Washington to be erected on the National Mall. The house actually produces more energy than it uses. You can find more information on the University of Kentucky website.
